Michael Burns Announces Candidacy For Montana State Representative District 33

Glasgow, MT- With family, friends and supporters at his side, Michael Burns formally announced today his candidacy for Montana’s 33rd District State Representative seat. “I have been passionate about and volunteered in previous campaigns but am acting as a candidate for the first time this election” said Burns. “I believe that my life’s experiences,
professional expertise, my abilities, political ideology and understanding of the issues uniquely qualify me to be a genuine representative for the people and position me as the best candidate for State Representative in 2016.”

“I want to keep Montana lean, mean and beautiful. For over a hundred years Montana has been a gate to the Wild West. Its lands and people have captivated the world.” Burns proclaimed. “I want to maintain the spirit of the west, protecting our lands, farmers, ranchers and natural resource workers. I want to protect our first and second amendment rights, cut the size of government, reduce spending, lower taxes and hedge off Obama’s dangerous new EPA policy that would affect thousands of Montanans and over a billion in our state economy. Leading with conservative principles, we can continue making Montana the great state that it is.”

For the next several months, Burns is committed to expanding his campaign as he reaches out across the district to like-minded citizens searching for strong, conservative and inspirational servant leadership for the 33rd State House District in Helena.

Michael Burns works as a Conductor for BNSF Railway as well as an IT Services Professional at the local Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital. Michael graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Prelaw from the University of North Texas and is a graduate of the Leadership Institute in Arlington, Virginia, and is active in local, state, and federal politics.
