HELENA — Republican and Democratic legislative leaders expressed disappointment Tuesday over the Legislature’s failure to pass a major bill to fund public works projects around the state.
But each side pointed to its own accomplishments at press conferences following the adjournment of 2015 Legislature.
Republican legislative leaders cited passage of a state budget that held the line on state spending as a major achievement, along with the early passage of a bill to increase funding for K-12 schools and another funding community mental health services.
