A new poll conducted by Montana State University-Billings shows Republicans with a huge lead in races for State House and State Senate. The poll has been conducted each year since 1989. This year’s poll surveyed a statewide random sample of 590 adult Montanans. 70% of the survey respondents were contacted via cellphone and 30% were contacted via landlines. The sample was acquired from Marketing Systems Group. The poll was conducted from October 3-10, 2016.
